We have moved to the new modern, purpose built stand alone facility in Piccone’s Shopping Village at 159-161 Pease Street, just a short distance from our previous location. Our new clinic offers patients convenient parking with nearby access to other allied health professionals including the Discount pharmacy, Omega Healthcentre and also the IGA supermarket. There is also a reliable public transport service in close proximity to our new centre. In keeping with our vision to expand the range of ophthalmological services offered to the growing population in Cairns and the surrounding regions our new clinic is equipped with 11 consultation rooms, 2 minor operating theatres, 3 diagnostic ophthalmic equipment areas, 2 laser rooms and 3 waiting room suites. The new clinic is equipped with the latest European and global technologies available for delivering the best evidence based clinical eye care for our patients. We wish to create a comfortable, friendly environment for our patients while they are having their eyes examined.

The eye surgeons working at Cairns Eye and Laser Centre have world class Australian and International training and are highly experienced in examining, diagnosing and treating eye diseases. We specialize in Cataract Surgery, Glaucoma management and surgery (including Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery(MIGS), Pterygium surgery, Diabetic eye disease, Macula degeneration, Retinal disease and surgery, Oculoplastic, Eyelid reconstruction and Lacrimal surgery.
